– First switch off your phone – With the help of a flashlight trying to look into the charging port to see dust.

– Apple strictly doesn't recommend using a compressed air method to clean in rare cases you can use FalconDust to clean.

– You can use a toothpick to eject any visible dust but be careful as the charging point gets easily damaged. – To see if any dust is there, slowly use the toothpick and move it from corner to corner.

– If the toothpick has dust on it, wipe it off with a soft cloth. Continue to plug in the phone to see if the problem has been resolved.

– If you still don't get a response, delicately scrape the toothpick against the port. – If you've chosen to use compressed air, you can blast the port in between toothpick insertions.

– Clean the iPhone in this manner until it responds. You'll have to take it to an Apple Store if that doesn't work.
