A pop-up menu is used to access the copy and paste functions. This functionality is supported by the majority of apps.
– Locate the text you'd like to copy.– Keep your finger on a word or a section of the screen until a popup appears, magnifying the text you selected.
When it appears, release your finger. The menu for copying and pasting appears, and the highlighted word or section of text appears.
To choose more text, drag the handles along the margins of the highlighted word or region. Drag one of the blue lines to the left or right, up or down. When you quit picking, the menu reappears.
– Tap Copy when the text you wish to copy is highlighted. The text is copied to a clipboard.– Go to the app where you wish to paste the text. It may be the same app from which you copied it.
Press and hold the text you want to paste into the app or document until the magnifying glass displays. Remove your finger when it appears, and the pop-up menu opens. To paste the text, tap Paste.
When pasting new text into a document with words, drag your finger after the magnifier appears to position the cursor where you want it to appear.
